Fluor AI Logistics Manager - Port Operations in Ascension Island, United Kingdom

Job Description:

* Position is in the Ascension Island *

Port Operations experience

Manages the Logistics function and personnel within assigned area of responsibility (AOR). Develops

planning for logistical operations and provides support in tracking supplies and materials, and

coordination of transportation functions, maintenance, and client services at the project level. Leads

teams of management and supervisory personnel which support the Logistics function assigned

locations; performs the duties of subordinate personnel as required. Coordinates material requisitions,

order information, status and updates to functional and site management as required. Ensures records of

Customer Orders, backorders, consignment inventory, import shipments and delivery details are

maintained according to contractual obligations. Minimizes exposure to demurrage and detention of

goods. Evaluates processes and procedures; develops and implements improvements to maximize

efficiency and value to the customer.


As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with

the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.


Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.

To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will

possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as

necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
