Area HSE Supervisor
For a Project in Sweden we are looking for an Area HSE Supervisor to join our team. In this position you will provide the essential project support, including but not limited to, the points listed below.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities:
•Verify that first-aid and emergency resources and procedures are in place.
•Verify that safety data sheets (SDSs) are maintained.
•Attend HSE Committee meetings when requested and consult with the Project HSE Lead on HSE issues.
•Report all hazards to the Project HSE Lead.
•Inform personnel in the area of Project HSE issues.
•Promote HSE education, awareness, and engagement.
•Maintain and update HSE communications.
•Conduct unscheduled and scheduled assessments of work areas.
•Participate in area assessments with area supervision and Project HSE Lead on a regular basis.
•Coordinate the HSE Committees when required.
•Participate in investigations relating to HSE issues if required.
•Coordinate and participate in thorough investigations of all incidents and prepare reports, as appropriate.
•Coordinate audits to eliminate conditions and work practices that are hazardous to the job.
•Review and monitor procedures.
•Encourage hazard identification and reporting by all project personnel.
