Fluor Project Information Specialist I in Cebu City, Philippines
The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions listed below with the overall objective of maximizing the efficiency of the project team and achieving the project goals through the best application of automation technology tools and methods.
Primary Job Duties/Functions:
Acts as the Project Specialist of automation technology for the project, managing the information technology, automation and information/data management requirements for the project team.
Assists in specifying and planning project requirements for the Electronic Document Management System in conjunction with the Project Document and Data Management (PDDM) group, and EDMS Project Application Specialist (PAS).
Coordinates and manages automation activities on projects
Uses effective knowledge-sharing behavior
Works under the general guidance of a more senior PIM to; coordinate the automation scope, services, budget and schedule; coordinate design automation kickoff activities and provides overall cross discipline automation coordination
Facilitates project close-out activities.
Assists in the timely resolution of any technical issues among the engineering disciplines and project management as well as process, construction, client, and other Fluor entities involved in work-sharing activities
Ensures that the Computer Integrated Engineering (CIE) 2D/3D (PDS/SP3D/PDMS) Execution Plan, including standard project procedures, is completed
Other related duties/functions as assigned.
