Position performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy in a customer-owned 24/7 mission critical facility. Background requires general knowledge of the electrical trade; in general, the position requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
More specifically, the experience should include substantial work on various control systems. This should include experience in understanding, troubleshooting, & repairing power supplies, sensors, internal control components, variable frequency drives, motor control centers, and building control systems & networks.
• Maintenance, replacement, or repair any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment;
• Working from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications
• Locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system, mechanical control systems or equipment
• Working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment,
• Using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
• Comply with all key work processes required by the company (and customer) and documents any deficiencies while overseeing customer systems to ensure no impact to their daily mission
• Participate in job specific training, presentations, modules, qualification tests require to perform work and qualify for job skills and corporate policies & procedures
• Perform various switching/isolation procedures to mitigate any unexpected operational issues or to prepare systems for maintenance activities by vendors or in-house O&M personnel
• Provide timely assistance to plant operators and/or other O&M personnel when required
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed; tasks range from effective use of building controls systems, discussion of system operations with Building Operators, preventative maintenance tasks to organization of a maintenance switching event for major equipment shutdown/isolation all to prevent impact to customer’s mission
• Position consists of a standard day-time work week coverage, Mon – Fri; flexible schedule is possible. Position requires on-call availability for after-hours emergencies at the 24/7 facility; primary response is performed by the Operations division, but this position might be required to report to assist.

Job Description:

Job Description:
Fluor is seeking candidates for the I-35 Northeast Expansion (NEX) South project in San Antonio, TX.
Fluor’s scope includes the design and construction of approximately four miles of elevated lanes, three in each direction, and associated interchanges at either end of the project.
The I-35 NEX South Project will add additional capacity to one of the most congested corridors in the state, which handles more than 140,000 vehicles per day.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the set up and execution of field warehouse/material management operations including receiving, warehousing, controlling inventory, issuing, record keeping, and the disposal of surplus for all project materials and equipment that fall under the direct control of the JV.
• Perform receiving and processing functions at the project site, marshalling yard, off-site laydown yard, fabricator, etc... per the Material Management Plan and Material Responsibility Matrix
• Physically check all receipts to verify they are in accordance with accompanying shipping documents (packing slips/manifests, tags, and technical documentation) and that the correct number of packages or items have been received, noting any discrepancies
• Prepare a substitute packing list for any shipment received without a packing list utilizing Form 000.470.F0002, Substitute Packing List
• Create Goods Receipts in iSAP from the approved packing slips and upload packing slips to be attached to the Good Receipts entry so that invoices may be processed for payment in a timely manner
• Prepare an overage, shortage, and damage report for shipments received with an overage, shortage, or damage and distribute the report per project procedures utilizing Form 000.470.F0006, Overage, Shortage, & Damage (OS&D) Report, and Form 000.470.F0007, Overage, Shortage, & Damage (OS&D) Register
• Control receiving locations to preclude any items from being issued prior to proper receipt, inspection, and documentation
• Maintain files in a secure area at all times
• Coordinate, handle, and record any materials requiring positive material identification as outlined in the project procedures
• Distribute and store copies of packing lists and material receiving reports on the project shared directory in accordance with project procedures
• Hold all shipments involving shortages or damages in a designated holding area / quarantine until written disposition is received from the Buyer / Expeditor
• Prepare, distribute, administer, and close a material and equipment deficiency notification when received materials or equipment fail to meet purchase order requirements / specifications and the deficiency is the supplier’s responsibility
• Classify materials and equipment into storage levels to prevent damage, deterioration, or contamination

Supervises the Work Control function. Typically multiple Work Control centers at separate sites. Leads the work scheduling and planning functions as necessary to support effective project execution within a variety of operational environments. Develops an accurate work schedule and utilizes work control methods that support operational effectiveness. Tracks required maintenance cycles, equipment utilization, calibration schedules and coordinates inventory of spare parts and
materials needed to effect maintenance and repairs. Communicates schedule updates with functional
leaders as necessary to obtain information, provide schedule updates and maintain operational effectiveness. Monitors actual performance against plan and evaluates variances; adjusts schedule and operations as necessary, communicates changes and proposed mitigation plans to functional leads and site management. Confirms work status, evaluates execution effectiveness and recommends process improvements. Coordinates work plan with other ongoing site activity, materials and personnel availability, and changing operational priorities; revises work plan and communicates updates as
appropriate. Provides planning, scheduling and control recommendations and support to operational leadership. Leads work teams and initiatives as necessary.

- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Analyze, Plan, and Perform Preventive Maintenance of various HVAC Systems.
- Plan shutdowns for maintenance and repair pumps including chill water, heating water and condensation pumps.
- Install conduit, wiring, hard drawn copper tubing and possibly ductwork.
- Troubleshoot, repair and make modifications to HVAC System.

Fluor led joint venture with United Infrastructure Group, Fluor-United Asheville (FUA), is seeking candidates for the I-26 Widening Project.
FUA was selected by the N.C. Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to widen and improve the 7.5 mile stretch of Interstate 26 from Exit 40 (N.C. 280) to the I-40 interchange in Asheville, N.C. The project will widen I-26 from two lanes to four lanes in each direction, including two interchange reconstructions, one at N.C. 280 and the other at N.C. 146, and the construction of seven new bridges, two over Glenn Bridge Road, two over Biltmore Farms Road, two over the French Broad River and one segmental bridge on the Blue Ridge Parkway over I-26. This stretch of I-26 currently carries more than 58,000 vehicles per day.

Installs air and water filters in completed installation. Injects small amount of refrigerant into
compressor to test systems, and adds refrigerant to build up prescribed operating pressure. Observes pressure and vacuum gauges and adjusts controls to ensure efficient operation. Tests joints and connections for gas leaks, using leak detection instrumentation or soap-and-water solution. Wraps pipes in insulation batting and secures them in place with cement or wire bands. Replaces defective breaker controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring to repair installed units, using electrician’s hand tools and test equipment. The client site for this project is a mid-sized recycled linerboard paper mill producing approximately 800 tons/day of brown paper linerboard and the mill operates 360 days/year 24x7. JOB SUMMARY
Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and ensures ongoing operation of a large-scale power generation facility
(including generation equipment, power distribution / balancing systems, fueling and related systems)
with a generation capacity typically exceeding 1 MV (1 million volts). Work environment requires strict
adherence to precautionary work methods and safety equipment due to the severe electrical hazards
present when working near energized equipment and components. Monitors generating equipment,
control/distribution systems, plant output and related components as necessary to ensure safe plant
operation and effective power generation on an ongoing basis. Troubleshoots and repairs/replaces all
generators, control/distribution components and fueling/support systems as necessary to restore and
maintain continual power plant operation. Tests equipment to determine cause of any malfunction or
failure, using voltmeters, ammeters, and related electrical testing apparatus. Repairs and replaces
equipment, such as relays, switches, load balancing/control systems, and indicating & recording
instruments. Safely operates all tools & equipment required to access work locations and complete
necessary repairs or upgrades. Completes all documentation and communicates effectively with team
members and other personnel as necessary.

source. Installs air and water filters in completed installation. Injects small amount of refrigerant into

connections for gas leaks, using leak detection instrumentation or soap-and-water solution. Wraps pipes
in insulation batting and secures them in place with cement or wire bands. Replaces defective breaker
controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring to repair installed units, using electrician’s
hand tools and test equipment. May install, repair, and service air-conditioners in accordance with
applicable codes, standards and/or manufacturer’s instructions. Will be required to possess the
