Here at Fluor Ltd we are now commencing our 2019 Graduate Recruitment Process and are looking for Graduates to join our Contract Management team.

Contract Management

Fluor’s Supply Chain Department plays a key role in project execution by developing overall supply chain strategies to ensure schedule and costs are optimised. As part of Supply Chain, Contract Management is responsible for helping to improve Fluor’s overall business through world-class supply chain and contract management systems, capabilities, and processes.

The Role

Under direct supervision by Contract Management the purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions listed below with the objective of helping to improve the Corporation’s overall business performance, deliver added value to our shareholders, and promote consistent and cost effective solutions across Business Units, projects and locations.

Primary Job Duties/Functions

Gather and compile essential data for formation and/or administration of contracts.

Assist with implementation of Contract Management practices and procedures and coordinate and monitor completion of assigned tasks.

Receive frequent direction from supervisor and supports one or more Contract Engineers with typical routine duties.

Maintain a working knowledge of the Company’s Contract Management Standards, programs and goals by planning and applying Contract Management practices and procedures as established by the Company through departmental training, Fluor University training and the use of the company’s knowledge management system - Knowledge OnLine (KOL).

Establish, maintain and manage communications with contractors, client representatives, project staff and corporate supervision, utilising the available tools.

Support Contract Management activities on large-scale projects. Duties may include assisting multiple Contract Administrators and Contract Managers with the preparation and execution of pre-award and post-award activities.

Perform all other duties requested by immediate supervisor(s) in order to support and achieve project milestone goals.

Develop and make formal presentations when given the opportunity

Work is generally based in our office in Farnborough. However, there may be opportunities to travel and work at one of our global offices or project sites.

The Office

Graduate positions at Fluor are based from our Farnborough campus, a state-of-the-art complex situated close to 2 railway stations. Our campus accommodates around 1,800 people and includes undercover parking, landscaped grounds with outdoor seating areas, a central coffee shop, subsidised restaurant and good access to local shopping and transportation networks. A free shuttle bus service operates between the local stations and is also available at lunchtimes for trips to local shopping centres.
