Job Description:

The Role:

We are looking for talented and skilled Project Engineers to join our Company.

The Project Engineer performs assigned duties of broader scope and responsibility and may be delegated a moderate to high level of independent authority.

At this level, may have the responsibility as the only project engineer on a small project with full accountability for the general duties, or the responsibility for duties on a mid-sized project or more complex segment of a larger project.

The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that comply with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and Fluor profitability of the completed project.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performing project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems;

• Assisting in management and coordination of activities among all project functions and engineering disciplines in accordance with the established Project baseline;

• Coordinate efforts of technical disciplines, vendors and licensors to ensure integrated and complete designs that meet project requirements and contractual requirements

• Support creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitoring activities, progress, and milestones against the plans

• Support creation and coordination of project effort hours, and cost estimates and budgets, and monitor progress and cost performance against these

• Support the preparation, delivery and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages

• Other duties as assigned

• Utilize Knowledge Management processes to capture, support and leverage relevant knowledge to enhance project execution

• Support the project by providing an environment for the development and professional advancement of project personnel, including providing on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities

• Participate in sales and marketing efforts as requested
