Such projects range from early studies and conceptual designs to basic design/front-end engineering design packages (FEEDs), through to detailed design, engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction.
From Farnborough we are currently executing the largest and one of the most complex oil and gas projects in the world alongside several other new oil, gas and pharmaceutical projects which will be constructed in the UK, Europe, Former Soviet Union, Middle East and Africa.

We are seeking candidates for Contracts Management positions who already have the appropriate experience to comfortably lead/supervise this function on medium to large lump sum EPCm projects primarily within the oil and gas industry.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate in-depth “cradle to grave” experience including all stages of contracting from initial strategy development through contractor evaluation and prequalification, ITB preparation, bid evaluation and conditioning, pre-award clarification, contract negotiation, contract award and post contract management through to successful close out.
Their technical and commercial expertise will have been gained through execution of home office and field contracting activities on at least four significant EPCm projects (TIC <$1.0 bill) two of which will have been fixed price lump sum. Experience of working within JV and consortium set ups will be beneficial.
Have successfully directed the contracts team effort from cradle to grave, on at least two medium to large onshore Oil and Gas EPCm
Have been personally responsible for the evaluation, negotiation, award and post-contract management of high valued site construction contracts.
Be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience of all aspects of contracts engineering and contract management in the home office and field, including initial project set up (Manpower planning, execution planning, contracting procedures, systems, documentation etc.), risk assessment (Prime Contract, commercial, schedule and project execution risks), Terms and Conditions development including Prime Contract flow-down, contracting strategy development at overall and individual contract level, bidder prequalification, contract scope verification, RFP development, tender evaluation/clarification, negotiation, contract award, post award site contractor management including progress and productivity assessment, change management claims resolution, and close out.
Be fully conversant with and have sound practical application experience of the various commercial reimbursement models including re-measurable unit rate, fixed price lump sum and Incentivised.
Have sound knowledge of change management and claims prevention strategy and methodology
Have sufficient knowledge and understanding of design engineering and construction to be able to evaluate contract scopes for completeness and suitability and interrogate design to evaluate quantity growth potential.
Have gained significant site experience and will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the scope, activity sequencing and typical commercial risk areas of the major construction trades including civil, structural, buildings, mechanical, piping, E&I.
Also have experience in the evaluation and award of pre-fabrication, module fabrication, logistics and Process Licensor contracts.
Have good market knowledge and awareness
