Job Description:

Heavy Industrial Equipment Operator: Dozer (GPS). Operates/maneuvers motorized heavy equipment to ensure accurate removal and placement of materials. Dozer Operator is responsible for moving/removing/excavating earth, rocks, other materials, grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials, leveling and distributing earth for construction projects may load and offload rocks, debris and other materials from areas or heavy equipment, observing all stipulated/required safety codes at all times. Communicates with coworkers to relay/understand project/job needs and specifications. Must be able to sit and operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time; ability to climb onto and off of equipment and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Job Skills: Proficiently operate heavy machinery to move dirt, soil, rocks, and other materials. Collaborate with construction teams and supervisors to meet project goals. Ensures equipment maintenance and safety procedures are followed at all times. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics and construction plans. Analyzes terrain and elevation for proper equipment use and material removal. Inspects equipment for safety and maintenance needs. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Wear all required PPE in proper manner and obey all safety rules at all times.
