Preferred Qualification/Certification Type: Ideal candidate will have completed US Air Force Liquid Fuel Mechanic course and have four to five years of verifiable experience working with "Type III" fuel systems.
Under general supervision inspections, repairs, periodic maintenance for permanently installed petroleum systems. Must possess skills and abilities to diagnose and repair Type III Constant Pressure fuel system malfunctions. The Technician should possess specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as well as having a working knowledge of the design and function of the system components. This includes, pumps, manual and automatic valves, product recovery systems, pressure relief valves, Differential Pressure Transmitter (PDT) and Pressure Indicating Transmitter (PIT), cathodic protection and Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) systems.
Seeks clarification and technical support where needed and escalates issues as appropriate. With general supervision, inspects repairs and performs periodic maintenance and modifications to fixed petroleum systems.
Maintains repairs and performs periodic inspections and maintenance on Hammond’s additive injector. Diagnose causes of equipment breakdown, test parts, disassembles and assembles parts and makes necessary repairs.
