Job Description:

Our Fluor office in Greenville, SC is looking for an enthusiastic team member with a can-do attitude that supplements our growing process team.

What we are currently looking for is a Chemical Engineering candidate for the Summer 2024 semester.

This is a intern process engineering position where you will enhance and expand your engineering capabilities working on simple systems under the supervision of a more senior engineer.

Typical tasks arevary by project phase, some potential tasks include:

• Perform process engineering assignments such as creating P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and working on PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams)

• Participate in P&ID and Safety reviews.

• Perform pump hydraulics, line sizing, equipment sizing, calculating heat duty, specifying instrument data

• Understand and follow baseline documents for your project such as the prime contract, scope of work and schedule

• Get familiar with and apply Fluor's practices and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned
