Job Description:
FLUOR is looking for a Semiconductor Engineering Senior Director who will focus on the leadership and technical expertise of the design and planning of projects in the semiconductor and microelectronics markets and related facilities worldwide.
The ideal candidate for this position will be based in one of FLUOR’s Greenville, SC or San Francisco, CA but other applicants across the country will be considered. This role is an opportunity to join an established but growing semiconductor practice in the E&C industry.
The successful candidate must possess the drive, experience and charisma needed to secure a robust client base, deliver technical excellence, and expand upon FLUOR’s reputation within this market.
Critical to this role is a proven history and commitment to technical leadership in the design and planning of facilities for multiple semiconductor & microelectronic clients.
Client assignments throughout North America are likely. Beginning with relationship building/pre-positioning activities, and the subsequent effort to drive successful proposals through technical delivery of projects will be essential in this role. At Fluor we are expanding a group dedicated to the semi-conductor manufacturing industry.
The selected individual will have a unique opportunity to influence the growth and organization of this group. This individual will oversee a team of Architects and Engineers who develop the design standards for Tooling selection and installations, Semiconductor Support High Purity Water, Gas and Chemical systems and the associated wastewater and waste chemical drain collection and process systems.
This position will also be responsible for the oversight of the physical layout of equipment in collaboration with industrial engineering and architectural designer. This position will be responsible for definition or preliminary engineered equipment, as well as development of design scope and cost estimates.
