Deploy Lean in accordance with the guidance, framework , methodology & roadmap provided by the Global Director (Lean Sensei) so that a Fluor wide transformation is enabled.
Support the global spread/replication of Lean practices, in accordance with targets set by the Global Director for Lean, so that efficiency and productivity gains are leveraged worldwide.
Create fertile ground for lean (Small Group Kaizen, Toyota Kata, Employee ideas) as defined by the Lean deployment roadmap
Support Office Leadership in the development of a transformational roadmap for Lean implementation for The Office
Report progress and be guided by the Office Leadership for lean in two specific segments
Project Performance (Lean’s contribution to select projects) overhead and Efficiencies
Identify and prioritize Value Stream Improvement that is aligned with the goals of Leadership
Help define Project stakeholder expectations and drive the successful delivery and completion of Value Stream Improvement ; delivering tangible benefits to Cost, Schedule and Quality of the project.
Coach value stream improvement and Kaizen events, with close support as needed , of the Global Director
Develop capability at all levels (Frontline, Supervisors and Senior Management) to practice Lean by transference of skills, knowledge and Lean values experientially
Develop capabilities at all levels by planning and imparting Lean training.
Manage and sustain all Lean Practices and cultural elements within The Office
Manage the Office Scorecard for Lean and report progress to Office Leadership and Global Lean & CPI group
Systematically support the building of a Lean culture based on Lean Values and principles throughout The Office
Engage outsourced resources ; in co-ordination with the Global Director; for Value Stream Improvement and Kaizen Blitzes within Projects attached to this jurisdiction
