Fluor Carpenter-Fabricator in Hopewell Junction, New York

Job Description:


Job Summary: Performs carpentry work on facilities/buildings at an industrial work site in Hopewell Junction, NY. Regular work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Fabricating, patching and repairing interior and exterior building components, walls, floors, ceilings, trim, doors, etc.

  • Performs and general maintenance work on a variety of facilities and buildings, structures, and hardware.

  • Individual must be capable of working as a Carpenter and assist in plumbing, painting, mechanical, or electrical tasks and/or with minimum supervision.

  • Some weekend and holiday work may be required.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).

  • Three or more years of related Trade school, industrial or commercial experience preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience with hand tools to repair architectural, building system structural components (doors, walks, steps, railing etc.) required.

  • Knowledge of other standard and specialized maintenance practices desired.
