Fluor Carpenter-Fabricator in Hopewell Junction, New York
Job Summary: Performs carpentry work on facilities/buildings at an industrial work site in Hopewell Junction, NY. Regular work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Fabricating, patching and repairing interior and exterior building components, walls, floors, ceilings, trim, doors, etc.
Performs and general maintenance work on a variety of facilities and buildings, structures, and hardware.
Individual must be capable of working as a Carpenter and assist in plumbing, painting, mechanical, or electrical tasks and/or with minimum supervision.
Some weekend and holiday work may be required.
Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
Three or more years of related Trade school, industrial or commercial experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience with hand tools to repair architectural, building system structural components (doors, walks, steps, railing etc.) required.
Knowledge of other standard and specialized maintenance practices desired.
