Job Description:
The position adheres to and supports the objective and responsibilities of the Risk & Insurance Management Department. This position may be responsible for various insurance related programs or functions, such as management of insured property and casualty claims for a geographic area or may act as the as the lead in the day to day management of the administration of select corporate insurance programs.
• Plan, direct, and oversee the implementation designated risk & insurance operations or programs
• Interface with internal operations and other corporate functions in the execution of designated responsibilities
• Manage the direct content with outside resources, particularly insurance brokers, carriers, and when appropriate, outside legal representatives
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
• Other duties as assigned
