Fluor Senior Tax Analyst in Irving, Texas

Job Description:

Fluor Corporation NYSE:FLR), a Fortune 500 company, is one of the largest professional services firms, providing engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication and modularization, commissioning and maintenance, as well as project management services, on a global basis. Fluor's Corporate Tax Department is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst at the Company's headquarters office located in Irving, Texas. Duties will include:

• Assist in gathering and analyzing data to determine proper taxable income for U.S. and state income tax purposes and in documenting tax positions

• Prepare / Review company federal corporate and partnership income tax returns and state returns , including complicated combined and unitary returns

• Mentor and train tax department personnel on tax compliance and tax accounting matters

• Organize and prioritize a variety of project and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet deadlines

• Assist in special projects including annual calculations of E&P, tax pools and tax basis in subsidiaries

• May assist with global transfer pricing processes, documentation and monitoring

• Make suggestions regularly and continuously to improve processes and procedures

• Maintain knowledge and proficiency in current U.S. and state income tax laws and regulations;

• Prepare / Review quarterly and year-end ASC 740 financial reporting schedules, reconcile and prepare / review deferred tax schedules

• May assist in technical worksheet modeling in support of tax planning

• Assist in gathering information, researching tax issues, and drafting formal responses in federal, state and international audits

• Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies

• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality

• Perform other duties as assigned
