Job Description:

Purpose: Focus on adding business value and innovation, while delivering operational excellence for the LINXS Operators Joint Venture.

The successful candidate would develop a cost-efficient method to provide services and solutions for IS&T needs for the Operations and Maintenance Joint Venture (LINXS Operators). Continuous improvement of performance, efficiency and agility on business, as well as meeting contract KPIs would be the main focus for this position. Key qualities include, but are not limited to, effective and reactive demand management, being a reliable and skilled O&M team member, expertise on emerging technologies with an ability to deliver proof of concepts and a proactive investigator on market products and best practices. The following four key principles would guide the candidate’s work model

• Standardization of business processes

• Address O&M priorities

• Improve IT cost variability and efficiency

• Leverage new technologies to bring value to the business

• Manage the operational relationship between LINXS OMJV and Alstom’s IS&T counterpart(s) at the site level, (LAX APM).

• Ensure Alstom IS&T deliver on service level agreement commitments through enforcement of processes and period reviews.

• Implement corrective action plans for areas where IS&T service delivery is not meeting business expectations.

• For all outages or high impact incidents, review detailed root cause analysis (RCA) documents. Coordinate with applicable business partners as needed to ensure provider implements all RCA action items to prevent a reoccurrence.

• Communicate and be the focal point for all IS&T matters and correspondence with Alstom IS&T.

• Be responsible for escalation management at the site level to ensure potential issues do not impact business performance.

• Collaborate with project teams when needed to ensure timely delivery and quality of implementation of new products and procedures.

• Coordinate with central teams on local infrastructure issues (Network).

• Be flexible for local needs but manage global processes, also remain available on-call for local emergency situations at all times.
