This position is for a hybrid Project Manager role with a very heavy emphasis on new business development and account management in support of Plant Engineering Services (PES)s office in Texas City, TX.
This individual would be responsible for leading the effort to create and implement a focused business plan aimed at generating project management and engineering/design opportunities for the Texas City office.
This position requires an individual with strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.
The successful candidate must develop a thorough understanding of PES’s core business model, what PES does, and doesn’t do, so prospective clients and opportunities can be effectively evaluated for fit. Where significant opportunities are identified that do not fit PES’s current business model, this individual would be responsible for identifying and presenting a business case to PES management.
This position requires an individual to be able to function in a matrix environment, working closely with PES Texas City, PES Corporate, Stork-Pasadena and Fluor Sugar Land to share market and competitive data and develop OneFluor solutions where applicable.
Principle Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Analyze commercially available market data to identity target clients and project opportunities.
• Work with management to develop annual marketing and business development plans.
• Establish new accounts and relationship with key client decision makers.
• Maintain and grow relationships with established clients.
• Coordinate PES participation in local Trade Shows and Exhibits.
• Work with Fluor Marketing Services to develop presentation and marketing literature.
• Organize and plan key client visits and meetings for PES and Stork management.
• Develop Proposals in response to client RFPs.
