The Electrical Design Supervisor is responsible for electrical design development of projects in the mineral processing industry. The Electrical Design Supervisor may act as a project lead designer and will be responsible for the project’s discipline designers.
Prepare layouts and conceptual designs for large mineral processing facilities
Supervise electrical design team and direct/interface design teams in global execution centres
Interface with other design disciplines
Design of electrical systems including grounding, lighting, and cable tray
Design electrical rooms to meet code requirements
Check electrical drawings
Squad check vendor and other disciplines’ drawings
Prepare estimates, schedules, and material forecasts
Provide guidance and mentorship to other designers
