Plant Designers/Drafters are responsible for developing plant and piping layouts. They also perform drafting of drawings, including process and instrumentation diagrams, material take-off and stress sketches and isometrics, as well as arrangements drawings and other documentation.
Plant Designers/Drafters are required to have good working knowledge of 2D CAD drafting and are required to work in a computer-based 3D Design environment. Previous experience using CAD, AutoCAD, Microstation 2D and Intergraph 3D is a definite asset, but in-house training is available.
