Fluor Materials Control Technician III in Afghanistan
Provides functional Support to Materials Control SSA operations. performs a variety of duties to store and distribute material. Reviews pick tickets and identify put a ways to be moved and determine destination. Communicates effectively with team members and upper management. Tasks may include counting, weighing, and inventory number of units of material received, transported, or present in a given location using hand held scanners or other methods. Handles, transports and stores material as necessary to ensure compliance with all applicable storage requirements . Properly identifies and interprets information provided on material labels, tags, and container markings. Rotates stock as necessary to ensure product is allocated for use in accordance with proper facility storage and rotation procedures.
Provides administrative and basic functional support within the Materials Control function as assigned. Assists department staff in completing assigned activities. May review and issue routine correspondence, update records, check status of in-process activity, enter data or updates in electronic systems, and maintain files and electronic documentation as required. May provide status updates and coordinate routine activity with other personnel and departments. Follows established procedures, maintains the security of project data and keeps senior personnel informed as appropriate.
