Fluor Movement Control Specialist II in Afghanistan
Provides specialized functional services within Movement Control operations as assigned, including ground transportation missions and/or air transportation in theater. May be assigned to a camp passenger terminal for fixed wing or rotary aircraft and responsible for daily operations. Responsible for preparation and maintenance of movement logs, passenger manifests, cargo movement logs, and daily mission logs. Coordinates activities with military personnel and passes along pertinent information regarding flight rules and regulations to both the internal and external customer. Assists military
personnel in scheduling of flights and manifesting of employees. Performs basic maintenance and stocking function at a passenger terminal to ensure customers’ needs are met. Disseminates information regarding flight schedules, routes, delays, safety requirements, personal baggage limitations, and
facilities for customers. Ensures passengers are clear to fly, performs roll call, and escorts passengers to and from aircraft as necessary. May be assigned to ground transportation coordination for line haul, tanker, flatbed, HAZMAT, and triple/double missions. Responsible for preparation and maintenance of
movement logs, cargo movement logs, and daily mission logs. Coordinates activities with military escort personnel and passes along pertinent information regarding safety and security rules and regulations. Assists military personnel in scheduling of missions. Performs basic maintenance and stocking functions at truck yards and checkpoints to ensure customers’ needs are met.
