Leads one or more teams of laborers / utility workers within assigned AOR. Ensures that labor services
are provided in a timely, effective manner that supports overall project execution. Performs the work of
subordinate personnel as needed. Develops and maintains work schedules and routes for labor crews.
Provides labor services which may include tasks such as soil work, material delivery and removal, jobsite
cleanup, refuse removal, site preparation, road surface maintenance and a variety of manual tasks.
Works closely with supported management to track status of ongoing activities. Ensures crew completion
of work orders according to specifications and regulations, makes recommendations to management.
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with
the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to
project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.
To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will
possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as
necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
