Job Description:

Dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to oversee our operations 5 Camps in Somalia, Djibouti, and Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in LOGCAP and other US Government contingency contracts, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and compliance. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a remote and challenging environment. Position manages project operations and personnel within assigned area of responsibility. Manages, plans and coordinates project operations to deliver effective execution and ensure that project objectives are achieved in accordance with all project parameters including schedule, quality, technical requirements and financial performance. Ensures project compliance with contractual requirements. Evaluates project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects. Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing and resource plan for each phase of the project. Provides direction, manages project activities and resolves problems to ensure project execution. Establishes project practices and procedures as appropriate. Coordinates project status and operational activities with other sites, military contacts and senior management. Provides technical guidance and operational support to project personnel. Ensures proper documentation of project data and provides timely, accurate management reports as required. Other duties as assigned.

Key Services:

Base Infrastructure:

• Construction and maintenance of facilities, including living quarters, dining halls, medical facilities, and administrative buildings.

• Management of utilities such as water, electricity, and sanitation.

• Ensuring the security and protection of the base perimeter.

Logistics and Supply:

• Procurement and distribution of food, supplies, and equipment.

• Management of inventory and storage facilities.

• Coordination of transportation and transportation routes.

Medical Services:

• Oversight of medical facilities and personnel.

• Provision of emergency medical care and treatment.

• Coordination of medical evacuations as needed.

Personnel Support:

• Management of personnel records and administrative tasks.

• Coordination of morale, welfare, and recreation activities.

• Addressing the needs of deployed personnel, including counseling and support services.

Environmental Management:

• Compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

• Minimization of the base's environmental impact.

• Implementation of sustainable practices.

Communication and Information Technology:

• Management of communication systems, including radio, satellite, and internet.

• Provision of information technology support and services.

In addition to these core responsibilities, Regional Manager may also be involved in various other tasks, such as:

• Community Relations: Building positive relationships with local communities and authorities.

• Cultural Awareness: Promoting understanding of local customs and traditions.

• Emergency Preparedness: Developing and implementing emergency response plans.

Ultimately, the Regional Manager's goal is to create a safe, functional, and supportive environment for military personnel deployed to remote locations. Their ability to effectively manage these diverse responsibilities is essential for the success of military missions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Operations: Manage and coordinate all aspects of operations at 5 Camps in Somalia, Djibouti, and Kenya.

• Safety Leadership: Implement and maintain robust safety programs to ensure the well-being of all employees and contractors.

• Quality and Compliance: Drive adherence to quality standards and compliance with applicable regulations, including FAR.

• Customer Relations: Foster strong working relationships with customers, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.

• Employee Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team capable of delivering exceptional results in a demanding environment.

• Financial Management: Oversee budgets, expenditures, and profitability to ensure efficient and effective operations.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and identify growth opportunities.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to minimize operational disruptions and protect company assets.

• Travel: Frequent travel between Sites and Countries is essential to ensure effective oversight and coordination.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
