Fluor Appliance Repair Technician III in Uganda
Position located in AGADEZ, NIGER
Services and repairs a variety of appliances and small equipment to ensure safe, effective operation within its installed location. Performs needed troubleshooting, adjustments, functional tests, inspections, installations, maintenance and repairs. Safely loads and unloads equipment onto vehicles for transport to repair shop as needed. Completes necessary paperwork, including work orders, parts requisitions, and inspection reports. Maintains appropriate inventory of spare parts and supplies as directed by management. Ensures compliance with all work area safety requirements at all times. Communicates effectively with customers and team members. Effectively performs additional duties as assigned.
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office work-space to project work-sites with harsh, working and living conditions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
