Fluor Movement Control Coordinator - Load Planner in Uganda
The Load Planner must have working knowledge of C130E, H, and J models, C17 and C5 aircraft to include commercial 747 aircraft. The working knowledge is both compartmental and pallet loading positions Their overall responsibility is planning, selecting, sequencing and monitoring each aircraft load to ensure maximum aircraft utilization. They must also interpret classified Frags ensuring the cargo/passengers are moved on selected missions. Load planners must also have the hands on knowledge of how cargo is built, and how it is to be loaded, must be able to complete load plans within the range allowed by the aircraft weight and balance system. Must calculate roller limitation, be able to revise a load plan in minimum time due to aircraft changes in schedule. Load Planners will also be the primary validation and contact for submission of the AOR backlog cargo reportLoad Planners must complete inventories twice daily, input all information on ITAS (NATO) cargo for ITV in the EVE's systemLoad Planners will have experience in special handling and ramp services areas of the Aerial Port . Must be familiar with GATES, Global Decision Support System (GDSS), Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES), and Air Transportability Test Loading Activity (ATTLA).
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office work-space to project work-sites with harsh, working and living conditions.
To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
