Fluor Supervisor, Document & Data Management in Windsor, Ontario
Reporting to the Project Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will provide supervision, direction, and training to document control technicians and clerks. The DCM must have a full understanding of all document control functional roles. Candidate should be able to perform any role in document control and/or teach in an efficient manner while maintaining effective communication with the client, project members, field personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors. The successful candidate is required to consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance to the project. This position must be able to understand and interpret client specifications/contractual requirements.
Manage all aspects of a project life-cycle including scope definition, developing a detailed plan, tracking, managing, and communicating project status
Will be required to give presentations to clients, suppliers, subcontractors, project task force, or management
May be required to perform general technical and administrative tasks as necessary. Provide direct supervision to support and meet project goals; perform associated problem solving, duties, and analytic tasks
Must be proficient in the use of Electronic Document Management Systems (BIM360, eBuilder, and ProjectWise)
Responsible for manpower planning and resource allocation
Deliver all execution reporting and participate in all project audits
Must be familiar with developing Job Books for the project including baseline, processes, workflows, checklists, quality assurance, construction, etc.
Must have strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction documentation and nomenclature
